Our History

At Palmer’s American Grille contemporary dining is our passion! With ingredients fresh from the market to our Chef, John Catalanotto, our exquisite service, and elegant yet friendly atmosphere, it is our goal to make your dining experience completely pleasurable.

The Powell Room and the Lenox Room are named after two well known founding members of Farmingdale Village. Their décor and ambiance are cast for a relaxing and elegant visit. Our attention to detail in the preparation and presentation of dishes such as our Maryland lump crab cakes, Beef Wellington, Herb encrusted rack of lamb, pan seared sea scallops, and fresh farm vegetables, will delight your palate and fulfill even the heartiest of appetites.

Indulge in our exceptional wine list with selections from around the world aimed to complement our menus and satisfy the most discriminating of connoisseurs.

To complete your repast, savor one of our exquisite desserts such as Crème Brule or our own favorite, Bananas Foster.

Palmer’s spirit room is warm and friendly with its beautiful hand carved figureheads, classic wine display and rich mahogany woods. It is a delightful setting in which to enjoy our specialty martinis, cognacs, ports and vast variety of craft beers and wines. The bar is busy and friendly with the sounds of acoustic music during our dinner hours and easy listening popular music for the late night crowd.
